My Reaction About the Seminar by SCITE

Reaction Paper

Being a Computer Science student seminars are very important to us not only to learn something new but to have a certificate that may help us in finding job in the future.

And last August 21, 2008, the Student Conference in Information Education (SCITE) conducted a seminar at Paskuhan Village, Sn. Fernando City of Pampanga about different topics like Game Development, OutSourcing and OffShorring, Latest Trends in Computer Software and Hardware, Cyber Crime and Voices in Animation.

Game Development? It’s just Ok, it was about how are animated characters was created. How about Cyber Crimes? It was about how Malwares, Viruses, Spam, Dialers, Spyware affect our system and how we can prevent them.

At first, I got bored with some of the topics until Pocholo “voice master” Gonzales came to discussed how the voices behind the cartoon characters was created. He also revealed that some of the voices behind some commercials on television were his own voice and he told us who the persons behind our favorite Koreanovelas are.

Once in a while there was a raffle draw to reward the students who attended this seminar and it was one of the exciting part of this gathering.

It was quite expenssive but overall, it was a great experience learning something new with our beloved professor.
